Sadly.....another death to report
After a week of rumors, it has been confirmed that Butch Murphy passed away at the end of October. It is thought the 30th or the 31st. (It would be like Butch to do it on Halloween as a parting gesture! More details will follow when they are known.
45th Reunion Update...........Mark the date NOW!
A committee met and has made some decisions regarding next year's "bash."
On Friday night, September 24th 2010, there will be an Art Night Gathering, time and location to be posted later.
The "official" reunion will take place September 25th 2010 at Robert Bromwell's location again. It will probably be tented and catered, unless you want to bring your own food. A suggestion has been made to have a grill and perhaps a steamer if you want to bring your own food or crabs to dine on. Note: 10-3-09, it has been mentioned that this may not be done. All I can tell you is, if interested, please contact people on the left and on the committee. No decisions have been set in stone yet.
The thought is that, perhaps if they are all alive at that time, "the band" (old fools that they are!) might be able to entertain with a few sets like was done at the 40th Birthday party.
Sunday will be an "open" day where individuals or groups can set their own plans.
A mailer will go out in the next few months announcing this for those not on the web, and another will follow up with details after final decisions have been made.
Motorcycle Ride/Event
We are thinking that there might be enough of us that ride bikes to have a short ride that weekend, somewhere either in Dorchester (lots of new things to see) or elsewhere. Steve Tyler will be in charge and if you want to input some ideas, click on his email at the top, left of this page.
Cambridge Regatta Social 2010
We are going to try to meet again during the Regatta Weekend at Tom Mace's property for food and fun during the race weekend. Next year will be the 100TH running of the Cambridge Classic Races, a 4 day event, and it is thought that we might have a good time on Saturday and Sunday meeting on the lawn and/or watching the races at the same time.
Hours will be race hours and probably something might be arranged for some if they want to dine in the evening hours at a local "watering hole." Just remember, most local places fill up with race participants and there will be a record number next year for this event. Plan early.

Otis will be immortal!
The old "Yahoo Group Website"
We are currently using several websites. This one is for information, but no chats.
If you have not logged into Yahoo and signed up here, please, please do so in order that we may all keep in contact, pass along information, and "be on the same page" again.
Thank you for your efforts to keep the class unified and in contact with each other via the web and email. It will certainly help with postage in the future.
A new Yahoo site has been set up for daily use. Click on this link, Class of '65 and you can visit the site. THIS IS THE SITE OF THE FUTURE. The other two sites will not be shut down, but they will not contain current information and they will not be used to post messages in the future.
To view and visit for information/pictures of the 2005 reunion, please go to
To view pre-reunion information
Both are Yahoo sites and you just sign up once and then join either or all groups.
Print and/or Download Good Photos In High Resolution Format
If of interest to you, click on PHOTOS to go to a site where you will be able to view, download or order higher resolution prints of any of the photos on the group site. These pictures are a larger file size and not appropriate for the group site, but have been posted here if there is any interest. This will be slow if you have dial-up connection, sorry. (Please advise if you have a problem.) Click on Editor of this site.....Send to email if you have problems or see things you want put here.
